Uniquely Refinished Antique Slant Top Desk

Masterfully refinished is this handsome antique slant top desk. This desk has stripped down, sanded and refinished in creative layered technique. The top is done with black chalkboard paint. The embellishment was added for more character and done with various layers of colored waxes. Also added is was the lip to keep things from sliding off the slant top. The entire piece sealed to last for years to come.
The interior is stained and an old world map has been added for a little creative flare. Included with this desk as seen in pics is chalk, eraser and paper roll, as this would not only be a great addition to your primitive country decor but would also be great for a kids room.
