These cute little easy to make wreaths are great and they don't just have to be for Fall, you can make them for any time of the year or for all year round.

Materials Needed:
*Wood Embroidery Hoop
*Piece of Fabric or Netting or Burlap
                         *Ribbon
                         *Decor of your chosing
                         *Hot Glue Gun & Glue
                         *Craft Wire or String

First, I laid out my piece of fabric, and placed the embroidery hoop on top and then trimmed out a square of what I will need.
Next, I loosened the screw on the embroidery hoop to separate the two hoops, I place one hoop down then my fabric and then the other hoop. I pressed the two hoops together so that the slightly smaller one fit inside the other.
Pulling my fabric gently all around to make it nice and taught (tight, no sagging) then tightened the screw.
Next, I trimmed the fabric excess off in a circular pattern, leaving just enough to wrap over the wood hoop edge. (See Pic)

Next I took the excess fabric and assuring that it was taught and tight I began gluing with my hot glue gun the excess edges of fabric around the wooden hoop (see pics) and be careful the glue can be hot.

Once the excess fabric was secured and glued around the edge, you are ready to do the fun part, decorate your fabric wreath.

Get Creative and have fun.  You can plan it out ahead of time or just go with some spontaneity.  The important part is to have fun.  This is a creative process and there is not wrong way.

I used a cork cutout of a pig that I found at the dollar store,  I painted with a little white chalk paint (not necessary just my preference) once the paint was dried I attached string to the back so that I could attach it to my wreath.

Next, I glued a wood "Home" cutout that I found at Michaels to the pig, I left it in the natural wood tone for a little dimension and warmth.

Once the glue was dried from applying the "Home" cutout I used the tightening screw on the top of the embroidery hoop to attach my pig and home decor, I did not glue or permanently attached as I wanted to be able to change it out in the future (if desired, again this is optional)

Using the same tightening screw I fed some Fall foliage that I got at Michaels through and trimmed the excess stem, secured with just a small dab of hot glue. Feathered out my floral arrangement to my liking.

Next I took a burlap bow (you can make your own or purchase already made as I did from Michaels) and attached it to the same little tightening screw on the embroidery hoop.  I did not use glue I used some crafting twine so again I could change it out if I decided to in the furture.

Using the same crafting twine, I added just enough and knotted it to create a loop for hanging my new Fall Wreath.

That's It, See Easy Peasy...  You just created a wreath.  This would be great to do with friends, with your kids or give as gifts.  And the decorating ideas are endless.  Embroidery Hoops are full of endless possibilities and can be used for so much more than just embroidering.

I hope you liked my little DIY tutorial.  And feel free to share your pics of your wreaths on my Facebook page.  Let me know what you did different, if you came up with other tricks or techniques.  I would love to know.
Thanks for joining me.  Til' Next Time xoxoxo
